Pilot House in Key Largo

Departed Miami a little later than we had planned but it work out OK. Had to get gas & do a pump out so that all takes time. Basically no slow zones on this leg so we can go fast.

A Google search this morning brings up Pilot House in Key Largo so that's where we're headed. We don't really know, from one day to the next, where we will land so it truly is an adventure.

Arrive at the Pilot House about 3:00. Decide to get gas now so as not do have do deal with that in the morning. A slip is available for us but the place is under construction so they are a bit tight on space. Don is supper nice as is Ryan. We get docked and head to the restaurant, which is known for it's glass bottom bar. How fun is that!

David & I head for the restaurant for some food. Decide to sit at the bar and there is the glass panel under our seats, but no fish. I'm starting to feel cheated but then a girl & boy come over and strart feeding the fish via a feeding tube on the floor, next to the glass floor panel. The fish go crazy!

Had a nice dinner. David starts chatting with the guy on his right and I start chatting with the guy on my left. My guy grew up in Miami so we have a lot in common. Was a fun evening, then back to the boat. See you manana.
